New York has adopted policies that set rigorous standards in increasing our use of renewable and sustainable energy sources — achieving 50 percent of our state’s energy from renewable sources by 2030. These policies will help us reduce the impact of climate change while maintaining support for good jobs, but we have a long way to go before achieving these ambitious goals.
